This is another nice picture, thie time showing a radio station in Addis Abeba in 1964.

Here the turntables are the EMT 927, even bigger than the 930s from the last post. Their platter measures 16 inches!

POTD 012 : EMT 930s in Central African Republic, 1970s

Now this is a pic I really like. It shows a radio station in the Central African Republic sometime in the 70s. And see what the DJ is playing...

The turntables are the over-engineered and extremely sturdy EMT 930, made by Elektromesstechnik Wilhelm Franz KG.

They can also be spotted here, with Mikey Dread at the controls...

After tte recent posts mainly having showed the record cutting process, the next ones will focus on them being played...
